Snetterton Season Opener Welcomes A Wealth Of New Teams
27 March 2015

The 2015 Radical UK domestic racing season kicks off tomorrow (Saturday 28th March) at Snetterton in Norfolk, with an unprecedented number of new drivers signed up in the Radical Sprint Championship (formerly Radical Clubman's Cup) and Radical Enduro Championship (formerly SR3 Challenge).
The meeting includes 13 examples of the new-for-2015 SR3 RSX, this latest iteration of Radical's bestseller making its championship debut. Amongst those enjoying the SR3 RSX in competition for the first time is Radical Works Team driver Lee Portnoi, making the switch from trackdays to racing at Snetterton. Joining him on the Radical Sprint Championship grid for the first time are SR1 Cup graduates Chris Car and Martin Verity, also both in newly-delivered SR3 RSX racers.

Established independent Radical team 360 Racing field newcomer Mark Hignett in an SR3 RS, alongside Verity and SR1 driver Peter Tyler in the Clubsport Class. Barry Liversidge also joins the Clubsport class as a privateer.

21 drivers will be in action in the Radical Enduro Championship, the field entirely comprised of SR3s at Snetterton for fast and furious action. New teams include the RAW Motorsport/HR Racing entry of former Britcar racers, brothers Edward and Harry Cockill. '92 British Formula Ford Champion, former British F3 National champion and BTCC driver Jamie Spence also makes his return to racing this weekend in the IAG Racing SR3 RS shared with Jason Rishover.
