RXC Spyder Makes Competitive Debut At Jerez
11 April 2015

Six new RXC Spyders and two new SR3 RSX racers have made their Radical European Masters competitive debut at Jerez this weekend, with qualifying just completed at the Andalusian circuit.
The preparation for Radical’s first visit to Jerez has been a busy time at the factory, with six RXC Spyders rolled out for this first round and more to follow as the season progresses. Lap times continue to improve as the teams gain knowledge of this new model, the most open-cockpit racer that Radical has ever produced.

Due to issues with the local timing systems, grid positions for Q1 are still being verified but with a short, sharp rain shower just before the qualifying session commenced there is a good mix of the classes. 360 Racing’s Ross Kaiser placed his SR8 RX on pole for Q2 with a best time of 1m46.109 on a wet track, with Stuart Moseley qualifying the new RXC Spyder of Jaap Bartels alongside on the front row.

Manhal Allos and Alex Kapadia qualified third and fourth with the Works-run Spyder of James Abbott just behind. John Harrison completed the top six with the lead Supersports Class car seventh, the SR3 RSX of Marco Cencetti.

All three races this weekend are being streamed LIVE on Radical TV, with the first at 13:00 CEST today (Saturday 11th April). To watch live CLICK HERE.
